AFG - AFGHANISTAN

As first time this federation has been established by the name of Afghanistan National Shooting Sport Federation on 25 September 2015 under cooperation of Afghanistan National Olympic Committee.

The abbreviation is ANSSF. After about 4 months of our primary activities the first election of the federation has been held as officially by presence of president, Secretary General of NOC and their delegates on 18 January 2016 and Mr, Lal Mohammad Sayar elected as president of ANSSF for four years.

From the moment that the federation started its activities officially inaugurated its branch in 15 provinces of Afghanistan like: Balkh province, Hearat, Nimrooz, Ghazni, Wardak, Paktiya, Panjshir, parwan……..etc.

Afghanistan National Shooting Sport Federation organized seminar of rule and regulation of Shotgun, Rifle and Pistol according the regulation of ISSF and ASC for men and women coaches three times.

ANSSF organize national competition of these three style [Shotgun, Rifle and Pistol for men and women annually to select and find the talented and younger shooters. Fortunately, the athletes of ANSSF participated at the first Asia Online Shooting Championship, at the 14^th Asia Shooting Championship Doha- Qatar, attended at the Pistol Training Camp in Kuwait, participation of 14 athletes in Rifle and Pistol Training Camp in India, participation of Afghanistan National Shooting Sport Federation at Olympic Games 2020+1 Tokyo Japan.
