ASC Leadership and ISSF President Attend OCA Welcome Reception Ahead of the 20th Asian Games

The ASC Leadership, ASC President H.E. Sheikh Salman AlSabah, ASC Secretary General H.E. Eng. Duaij AlOtaibi, and ASC Vice President H.E. Kichiiro Matsumaru, together with ISSF President H.E. Luciano Rossi, attended the official Welcome Reception of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), held on the eve of the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026, representing the Olympic Shooting Sport Community.

The reception was attended by H.E. Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the OCA, and H.E. Kirsty Coventry, President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), alongside distinguished sports leaders, delegates and officials from the 45 participating National Olympic Committees.

The gathering brought together continental and international sports leadership ahead of the Opening Ceremony of the 20th Asian Games on September 19, 2026, marking the final preparations for the start of the Games.

Shooting Competition

The Shooting competitions of the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 are scheduled to take place from 17 September to 3 October 2026 at the Aichi Pref. General Shooting Gallery.
