ISSF Publishes Updated 2026 Rules and Regulations Effective from 1 July 2026

The ASC informs all Member Federations that the ISSF has released an updated edition of the 2026 ISSF Rules and Regulations, effective from 1 July 2026.

Team officials specially the coaches have to be well versed with the changes specially about equipment control for rifle shooting clothing which must have ISSF seal and comply with ISSF Rules 6.7.6.2(e), 7.5.2.3, 7.5.4.2 and 7.5.5.4. Shotgun coaches and team officials should also be well versed with the new timeout Rules (Rule 9.18.5.1).

Due to safety requirements in shotgun events modification to structural components etc: including non-factory or non-professional drilling porting or machining are prohibited.

The ASC encourages its Member Federations to review the updated rules carefully and ensure that athletes, coaches, judges, referees, and competition officials are fully informed of the changes.
