Strong Performances by Asian Athletes on Day 1 of the ISSF World Championship 2025 in Cairo

The first day of the Finals at the ISSF World Championship 2025 in Cairo, Egypt, featured the 10m Air Rifle Men and Women events with the following results.

10m Air Rifle Men – Medal Winners:

• Gold Medal: DALLINGER Maximilian (GER)
• Silver Medal: LINDGREN Victor (SWE)
• Bronze Medal: SHENG Lihao (CHN)

10m Air Rifle Women – Medal Winners:

• Gold Medal: BAN Hyojin (KOR)
• Silver Medal: WANG Zifei (CHN)
• Bronze Medal: VALARIVAN Elavenil (IND)

BAN Hyojin (KOR) captured the Women’s Gold, while WANG Zifei (CHN) and VALARIVAN Elavenil (IND) also reached the podium with remarkable performances. In the Men’s Final, SHENG Lihao (CHN) added another medal to his record with a strong finish for the Bronze.
