ASC Presidents Dinner Held Alongside Asian Shotgun Grand Prix 2025 Opening in Kuwait

The ASC President, H.E. Sheikh Salman AlSabah, hosted the ASC Presidents Dinner in conjunction with the opening ceremony of the Asian Shotgun Grand Prix 2025 in Kuwait.

The ceremony was attended by H.E. Abdulrahman Badah Al-Mutairi, Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, ISSF President H.E. Luciano Rossi, ASC Honorary President H.E. Sheikh Ali AlKhalifa, ASC Secretary General and President of the Kuwait and Arab Shooting Federations H.E. Eng. Duaij AlOtaibi, members of the ASC Executive Committee, officials of the Kuwait Shooting Federation, and other distinguished guests.

In his opening speech, ASC President H.E. Sheikh Salman AlSabah thanked Kuwait’s leadership for their continuous support to shooting sport and noted that Kuwait has hosted the ASC Headquarters for 21 years. He also thanked the Minister of Youth Affairs for supporting this competition.

Moreover, ASC President highlighted Asia’s strong achievements at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, where Asian athletes secured 21 out of 45 shooting medals. He also expressed his appreciation to ISSF President H.E. Luciano Rossi for his cooperation and commitment to supporting shooting sport in Asia.

ISSF President H.E. Luciano Rossi congratulated ASC for its achievements and praised the performance of Asian athletes. He thanked ASC President H.E. Sheikh Salman AlSabah for his leadership and contribution to the development of shooting sport in the region.

During the ceremony, ASC President H.E. Sheikh Salman AlSabah presented a special ASC trophy to H.E. Abdulrahman Badah Al-Mutairi, Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, in appreciation of his continuous support. He also presented a special ASC medal to ISSF President H.E. Luciano Rossi for the ISSF’s contribution to Olympic shooting and its support to Asia.

The evening concluded with traditional Kuwaiti performances, offering guests a warm and memorable cultural experience.
