42nd ASC Executive Committee Meeting Concluded on 31st October 2025 in Kuwait

The Asian Shooting Confederation held its 42^nd Executive Committee Meeting on Friday, 31^st October 2025 at Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Olympic Shooting Complex in Kuwait, under the championship of H.E. Sheikh Salman AlSabah, the ASC President.

ASC President H.E. Sheikh Salman AlSabah thanked the government of Kuwait for their support to the ASC. He also expressed his gratitude to the ISSF President for his contribution and cooperation with Asian continent.

ASC President provided the Executive Committee with information and the updates on various activities and the developments related to shooting sports during the previous period.

The Executive Committee discussed various matter and reports and approved a tentative plan for allocation of the Asian Olympic Quota Places for LA 2028 which will be executed in 3 Rifle/Pistol events and 3 Shotgun events, combined within 5 Asian Championships.

The Executive Committee also welcomed the Chairpersons of the two newly established Sub-Committees:

• Mr. Abdulla AlRashidi – Chairperson of Athletes Sub-Committee
• Ms. Maryam AlShehhi – Chairperson of Women Empowerment Sub-Committee.

The formation of these sub-committees reflect ASC’s commitment to supporting athletes and encouraging greater participation and leadership opportunities for women in shooting sport.

The ASC President H.E. Sheikh Salman AlSabah acknowledge the hard work of the Executive Committee in developing the shooting sport across Asia.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Executive Committee decided to extend a letter of gratitude and appreciation to His Highness the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and to the State of Kuwait, in recognition of their valuable support and assistance to the Asian Shooting Confederation.
