The 10m Air Rifle Women Final in Ningbo delivered a historic moment for Asian shooting, as a young Chinese talent set a new benchmark on the world stage.

Gold Medal: Peng Xinlu (CHN) – New World Record, 255.3
Silver Medal: Jeanette Hegg Duestad (NOR)
Bronze Medal: Meghana Sajjanar (IND)

At just 16 years old, China’s Peng Xinlu produced a record-breaking performance, scoring 255.3 to win the Gold Medal and set a new World Record, surpassing the previous mark of 254.8 held by her teammate Wang Zeifei (Lima, Peru). This outstanding achievement highlights her as one of the brightest rising stars in rifle shooting.

Jeanette Hegg Duestad of Norway secured the Silver Medal, while India’s Meghana Sajjanar put up an impressive fight to claim the Bronze Medal, ensuring Asia was represented strongly on the podium.
