ASC Secretary General H.E. Eng. Duaij AlOtaibi Visits Aichi-Nagoya, Japan – Venue of the 20th Asian Games 2026

H.E. Eng. Duaij AlOtaibi - Secretary General of the Asian Shooting Confederation (ASC) visited Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, the host city of the 20^th Asian Games 2026.

During the visit, ASC Secretary General held meetings with H.E. Seiko Hashimoto, President of the Japan Rifle Shooting Sport Federation & National Olympic Committee of Japan, H.E. Yasumasa FURO President of the Japan Clay Target Shooting Association and H.E. Kiichiro Matsumaru. The discussions focused on to strengthen cooperation between ASC and Japan in the field of shooting sport.

ASC Secretary General was accompanied by ASC Vice-President and ASC Coordinator H.E. Kiichiro Matsumaru during the visit to the shooting sport venue of the Asian Games 2026. The inspection showed Japan’s strong preparation to host the Asian Games and ensure smooth arrangements for participating athletes, officials and federations.

ASC Secretary General visited the ESport venue and the National Training Center of Japan - A world-class training environment that uses the latest technology and science to support athletes and coaches helping them grow, compete, and reach the top. ASC Secretary General highly appreciated the team for their good work.

H.E. Eng. Duaij AlOtaibi expressed his deep appreciation to the government of Japan, the NOC of Japan, Japan Rifle Shooting Sport Federation, Japan Clay Target Shooting Association and the Organizing Committee for their efforts and dedication in preparations for the Games.

The 20th Asian Games will take place in Aichi-Nagoya from 19 September to 4 October 2026. The shooting competition is scheduled to be held from 17 September to 3 October 2026.
