Day 2 10m Air Pistol Women Events – Records Broken and Equaled | 16th Asian Shooting Championship

The 16th Asian Shooting Championship (All Events) continued on 19 August 2025 with exciting competitions in the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team, Skeet Women, and Skeet Men events, alongside record-breaking performances that marked the day.

World & Asian Records – 10m Air Pistol Women Team

The Chinese team of Qianxun Yao, Qianke Ma, and Zhuwenxi Zeng delivered an exceptional performance, setting new World and Asian Records in the 10m Air Pistol Women Team event with a score of 1740 (Series: 291, 287, 293, 294, 287, 288).

• Previous World Record: 1739, held by Team China at the 2018 World Championship in Changwon, Korea.
• New Record: 1740 (set in Shymkent, 2025).

World & Asian Junior Records – 10m Air Pistol Women Team

The same trio — Yao, Ma, and Zeng — also set a new World and Asian Junior Record in the 10m Air Pistol Women Team (Junior) category with the same score of 1740, surpassing the previous junior record of 1724.

Equaled Record – Qualification

• Qianxun Yao (CHN) equaled the Asian Junior Qualification Record with a score of 584 in the 10m Air Pistol Women Qualification.

These achievements highlight the remarkable consistency and excellence of China’s young pistol shooters, who continue to set new benchmarks on the Asian and world stage.
