The 16th Asian Shooting Championship (All Events) on 25 August 2025 delivered thrilling shotgun events as the Trap Women and Trap Men Finals were contested. Athletes showcased exceptional focus and accuracy, with several nations celebrating podium finishes.

Trap Women – Individual Final

Gold Medal: Neeru Neeru (IND)
Silver Medal: Ray Bassil (QAT)
Bronze Medal: Aashima Ahlawat (IND)

India’s Neeru Neeru secured the Gold Medal with a commanding performance, while Qatar’s experienced shooter Ray Bassil claimed the Silver. Aashima Ahlawat of India earned the Bronze Medal, giving India two places on the podium.

Trap Women – Team Final

Gold Medal: Neeru Neeru, Aashima Ahlawat, Preeti Rajak (IND)
Silver Medal: Yu Yingping, Zhang Zixi, Wu Cuicui (CHN)
Bronze Medal: Shahad Alhawal, Sarah Alhawal, Reem Alzamanan (KUW)

Team India continued its dominance by winning the Gold Medal in the Team Final. China took the Silver, while Kuwait earned a proud Bronze Medal.

Trap Men – Individual Final

Gold Medal: Qi Ying (CHN)
Silver Medal: Bhowneesh Mendiratta (IND)
Bronze Medal: Chen Pengyu (CHN)

China demonstrated its strength in the men’s category, with Qi Ying taking the Gold Medal and Chen Pengyu the Silver. Bhowneesh Mendiratta of India secured the Bronze, keeping India on the podium.
