Day 5 – 10m Air Rifle Women Final & Skeet Mixed Team Results | 16th Asian Shooting Championship, Shymkent, Kazakhstan

The 16th Asian Shooting Championship (All Events) on 22 August 2025 continued with the 10m Air Rifle Women Final, delivering one of the most remarkable performances of the championship so far.

Final Results – 10m Air Rifle Women

Gold Medal: Elavenil Valarivan (IND) – Asian Record
Silver Medal: Xinlu Peng (CHN) - Asian Junior Record
Bronze Medal: Eunji Kwon (KOR)

India’s Elavenil Valarivan produced a sensational display to win the Gold Medal, setting a new Asian Record in the 10m Air Rifle Women Final and marking a proud moment for her country.

China’s Xinlu Peng also shined, taking the Silver Medal while setting a new Asian Junior Record, further underlining the depth of young talent in Asia. Eunji Kwon of Korea completed the podium with Bronze.

Gold Medal: Han Xu & Jiang Yiting (CHN)
Silver Medal: Eduard Yechshenko & Anastassiya Molchanova (KAZ)
Bronze Medal: Ali Ahmed A. O. Al-Ishaq & Sarah Ghulam A. A. Mohammed (QAT)
Bronze Medal: Abhay Singh Sekhon & Ganemat Sekhon (IND)

The Skeet Mixed Team Final closed the day with another exciting contest. China’s Han Xu and Jiang Yiting claimed the Gold Medal, while the host nation’s Eduard Yechshenko and Anastassiya Molchanova secured Silver. The podium was completed with two Bronze medals – one for Qatar’s Ali Ahmed Al-Ishaq and Sarah Mohammed, marking a proud achievement, and the other for India’s Abhay Singh Sekhon and Ganemat Sekhon.
