Asian and International Shooting Sport Leaders Meet with President of Kazakhstan NOC

The President of the Asian Shooting Confederation (ASC), H.E. Sheikh Salman AlSabah, together with the President of the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF), H.E. Luciano Rossi, met with the President of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Kazakhstan, H.E. Gennady Golovkin.

The discussions focused on strengthening mutual cooperation and supporting the growth of shooting sport in Kazakhstan. The ASC and ISSF leadership appreciated the achievements of Kazakhstan’s athletes at the Paris Olympic Games and other international events, and wished the country every success in hosting the upcoming 16th Asian Shooting Championship.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Oleg Pochivalov, Secretary General of the Kazakhstan Shooting Sport Federation; Dr. Nedhal Alaasem, Member of Kuwait Shooting Federation ; Mr. Akaev Alimzhan, Secretary General of the Kazakhstan NOC; and Mr. Nurlan Nogerbek Director General of the Kazakhstan NOC.

During the meeting, ASC President and the ISSF President exchanged gifts and souvenirs with the Kazakhstan NOC leadership, symbolizing the strong spirit of friendship and cooperation.

This gathering reflects the shared commitment of the ASC, ISSF, and the Kazakhstan NOC to work closely for the advancement of shooting sport in the country and across the region.
