The Technical Program of the 20th Asian Games 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya JPN is finalized.

The entries are now open:

Entry By Number started on 18 July 2025 and will continue until 16 September 2025 (23:59 by Japan time).

Entry By Name will open on 01 May 2026, end on 01 July 2026.

The 20th Asian Games will take place from 19 September - 4 October 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya JPN. Shooting competition will be held from 17 September - 03 October 2026.

The Asian Shooting Confederation highly appreciates the efforts of the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games Organizing Committee to bring it to highest international standards keeping on traditions of the Shooting Sport in the Asian Games. Also, the guidance of the Technical Delegates, Mr. Abdulla Al-Hammadi QAT (Shotgun TD) and Mr. K S Henry Indrayani Oka INA (Rifle/ Pistol TD), with excellent cooperation of the Japan Rifle Shooting Sport Federation and the Japan Clay Target Shooting Association pricelessly contributed to future success of the Games.

The entries are now open. The first phase “Entry By Number” has been started on Friday, 18 July 2025, and will be continued until Tuesday, 16 September 25 (23:59 by Japan time). The next phase, “Entry By Name”, will open on Friday 01 May 2026 and end on 01 July 2026.

The entry process is under the responsibility of the National Olympic Committees and the national federations are kindly requested to coordinate the entries directly with their NOCs.

The Games program consists of individual and team events. Teams consisting of three individual players will be ranked after the qualification of each individual competition. Thus, the first champions of the Games will be known even before the first final. Mixed team competitions (one male and one female athlete) will be held with separate qualifications and medal matches.
