Opening Ceremony of the Asian Shotgun Cup 2024 Held in Asanov Shooting Club Almaty, Kazakhstan.

The Opening Ceremony of the Asian Shotgun Cup 2024 was held on the evening of September 21st at the Asanov Shooting Club in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

The event was graced by the presence of H.E. Sheikh Salman AlSabah, President of the Asian Shooting Confederation (ASC), Secretary General H.E. Eng: Duaij AlOtaibi, The President of the Kazakhstan Sports Shooting Federation H.E. Berik Nogayuly Assylov, H.E. Marat Yeleusizuly Sultangaziev, Mayor of Almaty, Vice Minister of Tourism and Sports of Kazakhstan and the Secretary General of Kazakhstan Sports Shooting Federation H.E. Oleg Pochivalov.

"In his opening remarks, ASC President extended gratitude to the people and government of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the Mayor of Almaty, and the Kazakhstan Sports Shooting Federation for hosting the Asian Shotgun Cup Almaty. ASC President congratulated Kazakhstan for their recent achievement of winning a Bronze Medal in the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team Event at the Paris 2024 Olympics, with athletes Ms. LE Alexandar and Mr. SATPAYEV Islam".

Moreover ASC President deeply appreciated the contribution of ISSF to the development of Olympic Shooting Sport in General and their cooperation with Asian Continent in particular. On behalf of all Asian member federations extended his gratitude to the ISSF president H.E. Luciano Rossi for his continued support to Asian Continent.

The ASC President also acknowledged the efforts of the Organizing Committee, the Technical Delegate, Kazakhstan Sports Shooting Federation officials, media and the volunteers for their contributions to successfully organizing the Asian Shotgun Cup 2024.

Finally ASC President wished all athletes "fair and excellent competition" and success in achieving high results.
