A Total of 67 Quota Places Achieved by Asian Athletes so far

The Asian Shooting Confederation (ASC) is proud to announce that a total of 67 Quota Places for Olympic Games Paris, 2024 have been achieved by Asian athletes so far. Today marks the last day of the Asian Shooting Championship Changwon, KOR that distributed 24 quota places for both Rifle/Pistol and Shotgun. Outstanding performance by Asian athletes was observed that increases the chances for more Olympic medals in the upcoming Paris Olympic Games compared with Tokyo Olympic Games.

Nonetheless, there are still a total of 24 quota places is left for Asia. In January 2024, two important Championships will take place, which are the Asian Rifle/Pistol Championship Jakarta, INA (16 Quota Places 5-18 January 2024, and Asian Shotgun Championship Kuwait City, Kuwait (8 Quota Places 12-23 January 2024). Additionally, ISSF Final Qualification Championship will give more chances to achieve Olympic quota places that will be conducted in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil and Doha, Qatar in 2024.

The ASC wishes the best to all Asian Member Federations to achieve more quota places in the upcoming Championships and hopes for more Olympic Medals in Olympic Games Paris, 2024.
