12th Asian Youth Training Camp and Coaching Course Inaugurated in Indonesia

In a happy occasion for shooting sports enthusiasts in Asia, the 12th Asian Youth Training Camp and Coaching Course (Air Rifle) was officially inaugurated yesterday in Indonesia. The prestigious event organized by the Asian Shooting Confederation (ASC) in cooperation with the Indonesian Shooting Association (ISHA), commenced with a grand opening ceremony, attracting participants across the South East Asian Region.

Gracing the occasion was H.E. Javidh Lodhi, Vice President of the ASC, whom attended the event as a special guest on behalf of H.E. Sheikh Salman AlSabah (ASC President) and with an invitation from ISHA. His presence added a significance of the event in nurturing young shooting talents across Asia.

During the opening ceremony, H.E. Javidh Lodhi expressed heartfelt gratitude to the President of the ASC H.E. Sheikh Salman AlSabah, and the Secretary General, H.E. Eng. Duaij AlOtaibi, for their unwavering dedication and significant contributions to the advancement of shooting sport in the Asian region.

The event was proudly sponsored by the ASC, which has been at the forefront of promoting sportsmanship and elevating skills of coaches and athletes in Air Rifle discipline.

Mr. Deepak Dubey, a highly esteemed camp instructor, whom also instructed the 11th Asian Youth Training and Coaching Camp in Colombo Srilanka, was present to impart his vast knowledge and expertise to the aspiring young athletes. With his guidance, the attendees were poised to learn essential shooting techniques, enhance and improve their shooting, and elevate their core skills.

Over the course of the event, participants will have the opportunity to hone their shooting through a series of training sessions, workshops, and friendly competitions. Additionally, they will have the chance to forge lasting friendships and cultural exchanges, fostering a stronger bond among the shooting community in the Asian continent.
