Exciting Announcements for the 11th & 12th Asian Youth Training Camp and Coaching Course 2023 in Sri Lanka and Indonesia

The Asian Shooting Confederation (ASC) has organized the 11^th & 12th Asian Youth Training Camp & Coaching Course (Air Rifle) in co-operation with National Shooting Sport Federation of Sri Lanka & Indonesian Shooting association. The 11th Asian Camp will be held from 20^th to 28th June 2023 in Colombo, Sri Lanka and 12th Asian Camp will be from 01^st to 11^th July 2023 in Jakarta, INA. Both Camps are organized to fulfill the outcomes of ASC survey that is aimed to promote and develop the shooting sport among youth and juniors in the South & South East Asian regions.

The events will be sponsored by ASC headquarters in Kuwait, providing the necessary resources and support such as accommodation, training expenses, transportation and meals to conduct a successful training camp and coaching course.

The purpose of the Camps is to foster the development of youth and junior athlete and national coaches across the Asian regions. This can be achieved by providing comprehensive training and coaching. Hence, we aim to enhance skills, knowledge and performance of athletes and coaches.

A total of 42 participants have registered for the 11th Asian Youth Training Camp in Srilanka, consisting of 22 shooters and 20 coaches from 12 Asian federations. Whereas 38 participants have registered for the 12th Asian Youth training camp in Jakarta Indonesia, consisting of 19 Shooters and 19 Coaches from 11 Asian federations. The high number of participants represents a diverse range of shooting talents and expertise. The camp promises to provide a conducive and enriched environment for the participants to enhance their skills, learn from experienced coaches, and strengthen camaraderie among the shooting community.

The camps will also include Practical Training, Theoretical & Technical Courses and Anti-Doping Workshops.

We are pleased to announce that Mr. Deepak Dubey from India will be the course instructor for the Asian Youth Training & Coaching Camps. With his vast experience and expertise in the field, Mr. Deepak is well-equipped to provide valuable insights and guidance to all participants.
