The ASC opens the registration for up to 15 member federations from West, Central, and East Asia that would like to participate in Jakarta, INA and Srilanka Youth/Junior Air Rifle Camps. Please click on the news for more information.

The Asian Shooting Confederation (ASC) has announced the organization of two upcoming Asian Youth Training & Coaching Camps for the Air Rifle discipline. These camps are in line with the strategic plan of the ASC and the outcome of their survey to develop the shooting sport in Asia. The camps will be delivered in English and will serve two Asian zones: South Asia and South-East Asia.

The 11th ASC Camp will be held from 20th June 2023 to 28th June 2023 in Colombo, Sri Lanka, while the 12th ASC Camp will be held from 1st July 2023 to 11th July 2023 in Jakarta, Indonesia. The purpose of these camps is to develop youth and junior athletes as well as national coaches.

The ASC is inviting 15 member federations that are outside South and South-East Asian zones to register a total of two participants (01 athlete & 01 coach or 02 athletes or 02 coaches) in one of the above Camps. The deadline for registration is 25th May 2023, and the total number of participants is limited to 35 only for each camp.

To be eligible for participation, shooters must be under the age of 23, have six months of experience in shooting or a valid ISSF ID, have participated in few local competitions, and carry a personal firearm. The registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis, and member federations will be chosen for one of the camps, not both.

The ASC encourages member federations to nominate qualified coaches or youth/junior shooters with a good command of the English language. For any questions or concerns, member federations can contact the ASC headquarters.
