Delegation from the Asian and Arab Shooting Federation visits the shooting ranges in the Administrative Capital

On the sidelines of the International Sport Shooting Federation (ISSF) President's Cup tournament hosted by Egypt, a delegation from the Asian Shooting Confederation (ASC) and Arab Shooting Federation headed by ASC President, H.E. Sheikh Salman AlSabah, and the President of the Arab Shooting Federation, H.E. Eng. Duaij Khalaf Al-Otaibi, visited the shooting ranges in the Egyptian International Olympic Games City in the new administrative capital.

The delegation was welcomed by H.E. Hazem Hosni, President of the Egyptian and African Shooting Federations. The ASC and Arab federation members praised the huge effort made by the Egyptian state in implementing the new shooting ranges, stressing that they are comparable to the best shooting ranges in the world.

Mr. Hosni received congratulations from all the heads of the Arab federations, especially after joining the ISSF Executive Committee a few days ago in the ISSF General Assembly meeting that took place in Sharm El-Sheikh, praising his prominent role in serving the game inside Egypt and the entire Arab world.

Mr. Hosni appreciated the visit of the ASC and Arab federation officials, stressing the importance of cohesion between the officials of the ASC and Arab federations and continuous cooperation in various fields that serve shooting sports throughout the Arab world.

He pointed out that the regularity of the Arab championships in the past years, which witnessed strong competitions that enriched Arab shooting, is only a reflection of the state of activity that the Arab Federation has been experiencing recently, which all shooters reap the benefits of during their participation in international forums and tournaments.

Finally, the President of the Asian Confederation, H.E. Sheikh Salman AlSabah, and ASC Secretary General, H.E. Eng. Duaij AlOtaibi, congratulated the President of the African and Egyptian Confederations on the occasion of his selection as a member of the Executive Committee of the ISSF, praising the great development witnessed by Egyptian and African shooting in terms of the outstanding organization of many international championships. The delegations also complemented the level of the sports city in the New Administrative Capital in Egypt, especially the complex and the shooting ranges, which are the most modern and comprehensive in the world.
