Final Events in the 15th Asian Airgun Championship Daegu, KOR

Today marks the final day of the 15^th Asian Airgun Championship in Daegu Korea with many achievements and success. A total of 225 athletes from 17 Asian countries fairly competed in the Rifle/Pistol events. The Championship took place from 9-19 November 2022 with Senior, Junior, and Youth athletes. In this competition the ASC is proud to see the great performance that all participants have showed, especially Asian youth athletes. In the final day, two final events occurred that were Air Pistol Mix Team and Air Pistol Mix Team Junior.

The Air Pistol Mix Team Gold Medals went to SANGWAN Rhythm and SIDHU Vijayveer from India.The Silver Medalists were RAKHIMZHAN Valeriy and YUNUSMETOVA Irina from Republic of Korea. The Bronze Medals went to KIM Bomi and LEE Daemyung from Republic of Korea in Match 1. The other Bronze Medals won by MOK Jin Mun and YOO Hyunyoung from Republic of Korea in Match 2.

Additionally, the Air Pistol Mix Team Junior Gold Medals achieved by BHAKER Manu and RANA Samrat from India. The Silver Medals won by KAMALOV Mukhammad and SAIDKULOVA Nigina from Uzbekistan. The Bronze Medals went to KIM Juhee and KIM Kanghyun from Republic of Korea in Match 1. The other Bronze Medals won by LEE Seungjun and YANG Jiin from Republic of Korea in Match 2.

Finally, the ASC congratulates all medal achievers and wishes the best of luck to all participants in the upcoming Championships. The ASC sincerely thanks the 15th Asian Airgun Championship organizing committee and Korea Shooting Federation, the City of Daegu, technical delegate Mr. Wutaru Fujii, International Technical Officials, volunteers, and all whom participated in the successful organization of the Championship. The ASC also thanks the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) for their cooperation in making the livestreaming of event finals successful.
