ASC ExCo Member Recommends Immediate Actions to ASC Survey Outcomes

In order to understand the requirements of ASC Member Federations and prepare a workable comprehensive plan for further improvement and enhancement in the performance of Asian athletes, the ASC President H.E. Sheikh Salman Al-Sabah formed ASC Survey Committee headed by ASC Vice President H.E. Javaid S. Lodhi to evaluate and access the strength & weaknesses of Shooting sport in Asia and make recommendations for improvements. A detailed survey was carried out getting the feedback of ASC Member Federations and 39 Member Federations out of 46 completed the survey. The survey was thoroughly studied and analyzed and after exchange of ideas with the team members following recommendations:

• Increase in ASC Competitions
• Psychological Pressure & Mental Training Programmes
• Coaching Courses for Athletes & Trainers
• Online Courses for Technical Officials

The ASC Executive Committee members in the 35th Executive Committee meeting held in Almaty, Kazakhstan approved the survey outcomes and recommended immediate actions to improve and enhance the shooting sport in Asia.
