ASC NEW QUOTA DISTRIBUTION!

The ISSF allocated ten more quota places for the Asian Shooting Confederation (ASC) and now the ASC has a total of 48 quotas for Paris 2024 Olympic Games. 

The ASC Executive Committee met on its 34th Meeting that took place via video conference on 30 November 2021 and approved the quota distribution for Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

The ISSF Executive Committee, in its meeting dated 16th January 2022, approved the preliminary program to distribute the quota places for Paris Olympic Games 2024.

The approved plan is to distribute the quota places in three different Asian Shooting Championships that will be organized, if possible, in east, west, south, or central Asia to ensure geographical diversity is met. The three competitions will be organized in 2023 and 2024 and the quota distribution will start on the 15th Asian Shooting Championship, Changwon, KOR from 22 October 2023 to 2 November 2023. 

Based on those decision, twenty-four (24) will be distributed in the 15th Asian Shooting Championship on 22nd October 2023 to 2nd November 2023, eight (8) quota places in Asian Shotgun Championship on February 2024 and sixteen (16) quota places will be distributed in Asian Rifle / Pistol Championship on April 2024.
