On the27th of July 2006, Zagreb, Croatia-Westin Hotel the 6th ASC Executive Committee meeting was held.
ASC President, Sheikh Salman Al-Sabah chaired this meeting. The board members discussed various issues such as preparation for the upcoming ISSF General Assembly, approved the final draft of ASC new Constitution and Regulations, Awarding policy, Communication policy, upcoming Asian Games in Doha, Qatar December 2006, the 2nd Air Gun Championships in Nanjing, China in April 2008, and 2nd Asian Practical Coaching course in New Delhi, India from 20 to 27 January 2007.
The meeting was fruitful as the ASC is working collectively as a family in improving shooting sport in Asia and by holding the meeting on 27th July 2006 prior to the ISSF General Assembly Meeting on 29th July 2006. The ASC great success in the ISSF General Assembly was due to the large attendance and support of the Asian and International Member Federations.

ASC Dinner Reception
On the 28th of July 2006, Zagreb, Croatia-Westin Hotel.
The President of ASC, Shiekh Salman Al-Sabah, on behalf of the Asian family, hosted a dinner reception to the ASC board members, officials representative of Asian Member Federations and Team leaders who attended the World Cup. Many guests attended the dinner reception in a show of unity and friendship among the Asian Member Federations. All guests were content for having this opportunity to interrelate with each other and to contribute their views for the benefit of shooting sport in Asia.
ISSF General Assembly
On the 29th of July 2006, Zagreb, Croatia-Westin Hotel.
The ISSF General Assembly was held. ASC would like to express sincere congratulations to H.E. Olegario Vazquez Rana (Mexico) for his unanimous reelection as the ISSF President and to H.E.Horst G . Schreiber (Germany) for his unanimous reelection as the ISSF Secretary General, the following 4 members who were reelected as Vice President, Mr. Anderson Gary L (USA), Ms. Nicolaysen Unni( Norway) Mr.Rossi Luciano (Italy), Mr.Wahdan Medhat (Egypt) and Mr. David Parish (Great Britain) reelected as Chairmen of Technical Committee, and Chairman of the each section committees who all were elected unanimously in the ISSF General Assembly.
19 candidates ran for the election for 15 seats for the Administrative Council, and all 4 Asian members were elected as Administrative Council member as following:

Mr. Noboru Kikuchi (Japan)
Mr. Lee Woo Jae (Korea)

ISSF Administrative Council
On the 30th of July 2006, Zagreb, Croatia-Westin Hotel the ISSF Administrative Council meeting was held.
The ASC Executive Members decided that Mr.Baljit Singh Sethi (ASC Vice President- India) to represent ASC in ISSF Administrative Council.
5 members were elected among the 15 members of Administrative Council as Executive Committee members. For the first time, Asia won 2 seats, Sheikh Salman Al-Sabah(Kuwait) and Mr. Li Feng (China) as ISSF Executive Committee members; where Sheikh Salman Al-Sabah received the highest number of vote. The other Asian members of section committee who were elected by the ISSF Administrative Council as follows:

Mr.Amin J. Jalaluddin( India- Judges Committee)
Mr.Park Ki Rim (Korea- Pistol Committee)

The success reflect the unity of ASC Member Federations.
ASC would like to express sincere appreciation for the great support and wise leadership of H.E. Olegario Vazquez Rana, ISSF President and H.E. Horst G. Schreiber, ISSF Secretary General. ASC express its appreciation to ISSF Executive Members, ISSF Administrative Council Members and International Member Federations.
ASC will work together to serve and develop shooting sport by cooperating with International Federations under the ISSF leadership.
