H.E. Sheikh Salman Al Sabah to attend the 3rd Asian Air Gun Championship and 13th ASC Executive Committee Meeting 19th December 2009
16th of December 2009H.E. Sheikh Salman Al-Sabah, President of Asian Shooting Confederation left for Doha, Qatar on 16th of December to attend the 13th ASC Executive Committee Meeting which coincides with the 3rd Asian Air Gun Championship.H.E. Sheikh Salman Al-Sabah will inaugurated the opening Ceremony of the 3rd Asian Air Gun Championship that kicks-off on the 17th of December 2009. The Championship will be attended by 26 different nations with a participation of over 500 shooters. 13th ASC Executive Committee meeting will focus on several important issues which includes the development of the shooting sport among junior and youth shooters and in particular the joint activities between all Asian countries.In addition to the 13th Executive Committee meeting will also discuss forming the ASC Training Academy. This Academy will be uniquely designed to fully integrate juniors and high level shooters with elite shooting training and will provide an in depth look at Shooting Sports and the options and opportunities for all Member Federations to work together for youth and junior shooters advancement and development.
The 3rd Asian Air gun Championship is the event for quota allocation for Asian youth for the 1st Olympic Youth Games 2010 Singapore.
