DOHA, December 18, 2009 – Under the patronage of HE Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Secretary-General of the Qatar Olympic Committee, the third Asian Shooting Championship kicked off at the Losail Shooting Complex on Thursday.Sheikh Salman Al Sabah, President of Asian Shooting Confederation inaugurated the prestigious event, amid a festive scene attended by number of QSAF officials, participating delegates, guests and fans.

A total of 500 shooters from 26 countries including seven Arab countries are involved in the event.
