Arab Union for Shooting Headquarters relocated to the State of Kuwait

At the emergency meeting of the Executive Body of Arab Union for shooting sports which was recently held in Kuwait on the sidelines of the "Arab Shooting Championship", which took place during the period from January 4 to 11, 2010. It was decided to relocate the Arab Union Shooting Headquarters from Egypt to the state of Kuwait.

During the course of the meeting it was also decided to select Mr. Obaid Al Osaimi (Secretary General of Kuwait Shooting Federation) as Secretary-General of the Arab Federation of Shooting to succeed General Mohamed Adel Abdel-Halim.

The members of Arab Shooting Union overwhelmingly approved to relocate of headquarters to Kuwait where the presidency of the Arab Union for shooting Eng Duaij Khalaf Al-Otaibi is based.

Mr. Obaid Al Osaimi thanked the President Eng Duaij Khalaf Al-Otaibi of Arab Shooting Union and Members of board for the confidence placed in him and express his goals to promote Arab sport of shooting and work in conjunction with the President for the benefit of advancement of the Arab Union for shooting i at the continental and global levels.

The Board of Directors of Arab Union decided at the meeting to host the 10th Union of Arab Shooting in Algeria in 2012, and to also form a development and Technical Committee.
