2^nd Asian Air Gun Championships

April 4-9, 2008 - Nanjing, China

This event was proudly hosted at the Fangshan Sports Training Centre with great support from the Jiangsu Municipal Government and the Jiangsu Administration of Sport.

The Organizing Committee conducted the competition on the seventy (70) targets SIUS equipped range.

This event immediately preceded the ISSF World Cup Beijing which added extra interest – to what hopefully will become an annual event on the Asian calendar.

Participating Countries number thirteen (13) representing all five (5) regions within the Asian Shooting Confederation.

One hundred and sixty five (165) shooting athletes took their places, contesting the various Air Gun events in both Pistol and Rifle.

Of Note:- is the application for establishment of a new Asian Record in the 10m Air Rifle Men team event to the Chinese Team with a combined score of 1788.
