H.E Sheikh Salman Al Sabah, President of Kuwait Shooting Federation and Asian Shooting Confederation, recently welcomed Gen. Moyeen U Ahmed, Chairman of the National Sports Council and President of Bangladesh Olympic Association and his accompanying delegation during the General’s visit to Kuwait, at the Asian Shooting Confederation Headquarters, located at the Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed Olympic Shooting Complex in Sulaibiya.

They had a tour of the shooting complex which included all the ranges in rifle, pistol and shotgun.  The guest showed his admiration of what he observed at the shooting range and more so of the development of shooting in Kuwait in particular at the enthusiasm of the youth in Kuwait.

After further discussion of the current and future cooperation between the Asian Shooting Confederation and Bangladesh, Gen. Moyeen Ahmed expressed appreciation for the efforts of the ASC in developing the shooting sport in Asia, particularly when it comes to youth.

The sports authorities in Bangladesh deeply appreciate the support of the ASC President to the National Shooting Federation of Bangladesh and the effort and support for shooting. Especially appreciated was the brotherly relationship between Kuwait and Bangladesh, as shooting is a very popular sport in Bangladesh. 

The ASC President expressed the willingness of the ASC to monitor and help where possible with programs towards the development of youth and junior shooters, leading to a continued expansion of the shooting sport.
