Qatar to host 12^th Asian Shooting Championships 2011.

• Four Member Federations namely; Chinese Shooting Federation;  National Rifle Shooting Association of India; Kuwait Shooting Federation and Qatar Shooting and Archery Association applied to host the 12^th Asian Shooting Championships in 2011. The Kuwait Shooting Federation withdrew its application and an open voting was conducted.

•  Qatar Shooting and Archery Association won with an overwhelming majority to host the 12^th Asian Shooting Championships in 2011.
